An 18-month learning journey focused on the five Missions set up by the European Union.
Mission-oriented innovation policy is a cross-sectoral policy approach to achieving ambitious goals for societal challenges. This 18-month learning journey focuses on the five ‘headline Missions’ established by the European Union for Horizon Europe. Merging academic theory, practical experiments and immersive experiences the MLE develops shared learning around how to implement mission practices.
Working alongside colleagues from Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Sweden, we are rolling our sleeves up and diving into the detail on national governance structures, mission portfolios, funding strategies and citizen engagement.
As Chair of the MLE, TbD’s founder Rowan Conway has designed and facilitated the applied learning journey, focusing on how to harness innovation to take on global and societal challenges.
